The August Edition of Happy Hamper that I received
The beauty market in India is flooded with subscription boxes. One newbie to make a foray into the business of beauty is Happy Hamper. I personally believe that beauty boxes are heaven sent as far as I am concerned since they allow me to sample newly launched products at a price which is much less when compared to the money I pay for the entire box. Plus I get to try out revolutionary products which I believe I wouldn’t even come to know of had it not been for these subscription boxes.
Recently, I received the August #Takecare Edition of Happy Hamper. The box is priced @ Rs 699/- and comprises primarily of beauty & skin-care products worth Rs 1600/-!!. Now that’s what I call a steal!!. What is great is the fact that unlike most subscription boxes, Happy Hamper is partially personalised with questions related to your skin & hair type as well as your skin concerns at the time of placing the order. This is essential since there’s no point in getting products which don’t match your skin-type and eventually you are unable to use them.
To begin with, I love the cute packaging of the hamper which comes in a beautiful shade of pink and white. The box is sturdy and one can use it later on to store makeup or trinkets which is what I plan on doing. Also, since it is the month of Raksha Bandhan, they have added a beautiful Rakhi inside along with a personal note which I think is so thoughtful and out-of -the box. The products inside the Happy Hamper are as follows:
- The Nature’s Co.- Multi-Vitamin Facial Massage Cream
- Pratha- Himalayan Pink Salt
- Iraa- Conditioning Hair Mist
- Fuschia- Herbal fusion Shampoo
- Veda Essence- Calamine Rosemary Soap
The Nature’s Co.- Multi-Vitamin Facial Massage Cream
Before placing an order for my Happy Hamper, I had mentioned that I have dry & sensitive skin, therefore, I was sent this amazing multi-vitamin facial massage cream from The Nature’s Co. The main ingredients of this cream are almond oil, jojoba oil, wheat germ oil, vitamin E, vitamin A, vitamin C, cocoa butter and kokum butter. Just by looking at the list of the key ingredients, one can tell how hydrating this cream must be.
Directions for use- All you need to do is splash some water & apply this cream all over your face. Moisten hands with cold water and massage gently for 5-10 min using upward strokes. Leave it on for 10-15 minutes before removing it with damp cotton.
After just a single application I could tell the difference. My skin felt supple and hydrated and it did render a certain glow to my face. I received a 50 ml pack worth Rs 695/- in my Happy Hamper.
Pratha- Himalayan Pink Salt
The second product that I received is the French Rose Refreshing Bath Salt from Paratha. Himalayan salts contain 84 essential minerals that only make your skin soft but also efficiently detox the entire body. Epsom is different from traditional salts as it contains a naturally occurring pure mineral compound of magnesium & sulphate. Magnesium helps to improve muscle & nerve function, reduces inflammation and improves blood flow.

Directions for Use- Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons in warm running water
I received a 50 gm pack worth Rs 170/- in my Happy Hamper
Iraa- Instasheen Conditioning Hair Mist
Who doesn’t yearn for beautiful -shiny locks that smell great!. Well Iraa’s Instasheen Conditioning Hair Mist does just that. I simply love the fruity fragrance of this hair mist.
Active Ingredients include Apple and Green Tea

Fuschia- Herbal fusion Shampoo
I received a Herbal Fusion Shampoo from Fuschia. I have tried their products in the past and have loved most of them so I was thrilled to get this shampoo in my Happy Hamper. The main ingredients in this paraben free shampoo are 9 ayurvedic herbs that claim to reduce hair fall and bring back shine to your dull hair. I have used it just once and will be to tell the difference in a few more applications.
I received a 50 ml bottle worth Rs 250/- in my Happy Hamper.
Veda Essence- Calamine Rosemary Soap
I got the Natural Calamine Rosemary Soap from Veda in my Happy Hamper as I mentioned that I have dry skin before placing the order. It is 100% natural & vegan handmade cold process soap.
Key Ingredients- include Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, Sesame & Ricebran Oil, Calamine, Shea Butter & Rosemary Essence Oil.
It does help to calm & smoothes the skin with regular usage. Also, it helps to reduce inflammation and itchy skin which so great for me as that is exactly what my skin needs during monsoon.
I received a 125 gm bar worth Rs 210/- in my Happy Hamper
I quite appreciate the fact that all the products inside my Happy Hamper are made with natural ingredients and are chemical free. A special mention for the speed at which this box was delivered to me. The selection of brands was up to the mark plus it also came with a detailed description of every product. I would say that it is a perfectly curated box for skin & hair-care.
