Summers are welcomed in the West but when it comes to Indian summers, especially in North India, it seems like the earth is on fire. The scorching heat & the sweat literally drive you nuts. It becomes a bit of a challenge to remain stylish despite the weather. However, with some creative innovation, you can metamorphosize your summer outfit into an elegant attire that reflects your style & persona. You need to ensure that you take complete advantage of the best options that summer has to offer by wearing comfortable clothing with a stylish flair.
Loose fitting, breezy, lightweight garments are exactly what you need during the sultry months. In fact I personally prefer free-flowing & comfortable outfits, ensuring at the same time that they do not compromise my style. You can wear them at parties whether it is during the day or night. You can wear them at work place, gatherings, picnics and almost anywhere. Thus fashionable skirts, salwar kameez, dresses or palazzo-pants matched with the versatile top of linen, cotton or georgette go very well both at work as well as while socialising.
My all time favourite colours during summers include beige, ivory, black & red. Beige is the French word for the colour of natural wool. … Beige is variously described as a pale sandy fawn colour, a greyish tan, a light-greyish yellowish brown, or a pale to greyish yellow. Its a very soothing colour which is quite easy on the eyes. You can seldom go wrong with ivory or beige!.With summers around the corner, I enjoy wearing flowy Indian outfits. In fact I love wearing comfortable yet elegant palazzo-suits in the sultry weather, so I teamed up with Jashn Stores to recreate my favourite summer look incorporating two of my favourite colours- beige & black. With around 80 stores all over the country, Jashn is a brand that needs no introduction, it is a household name & I’m sure everyone especially in the city of Lucknow has heard about it.
So as you guys can see from my pictures above that I’m actually having a ball in this gorgeous beige & black palazzo suit that I chose from Jashn Stores. The fabric is light and summery with a beautiful print. The cotton inner lining inside my kurta ensures that all the perspiration is absorbed and I feel fresh & vibrant. I love the delicate and understated embroidery on slit, neck and the back. The same embroidery can also be seen on the borders of the stunning dupatta. The dupatta has heavy beige embroidery on both the sides yet it looks classy & elegant because of the sophisticated colour. The net in the centre of the dupatta renders it an elegant feminine charm. Instead of churidars, I chose loose, comfortable yet stylish palazzo pants. Beige lace has been used on the border to lift the plain palazzo and give it some character. I have to mention this stunning black crochet statement necklace which has taken my look to another level!.
