Going on the first date usually conjures up images of a romantic evening out, hence of an evening gown/ cocktail dress which would be suitable for dinner or drinks. It’s easier to select an outfit for an evening date: heels are always a quick way to feel feminine & pretty in no time! But what do you do, when your very important & crucial first date is actually a brunch date?. Well, your mantra should be natural makeup and an outfit that is simple yet elegant since the first impression is of great consequence!

For a brunch date, though, you get a little more leeway since you’re meeting during the day at more casual venue. But that doesn’t mean you still can’t look flirty and polished for your rendezvous. A dress is always an ideal option for a date, but when you’re getting together for brunch, skip the sexy little black cocktail dress and go for a more casual style like a maxi-dress or a bodycon dress which is quite the rage these days.

I opted for a simple yet flirty mid-length purple bodycon dress for the Brunch Date Look that I’ve created. For accessories, I chose red danglers which go so well with my handbag as well as shoes. Also I simply wore an elegant rose-gold watch on my wrist and that is it. Nothing over the top, yet my dress accentuated all the right curves and made quite the impression without being in-your-face, if you know what I mean ;-). During the daytime I prefer oversized shoulder bags so I chose a red one that matched my shoes. For footwear I chose these comfortable yet stylish wedges.

I hope you like the entire look and I would love to know what you think. For those who are interested in the outfit details, I’ll be leaving them down below. I’ll be coming up soon with another amazing fashion post..till then …stay stylish..ciao.
